Sophie Monk

Sophie Monk is best known for being part of the pop all-girl group Bardot. The group has since split up and now she is starting her on her solo singing career as well as her acting one. She also models occasionally. Sophie Monk was born on December 14, 1979 in England, but this budding singer-actress really has her roots in Australia. She began her singing career with Bardot in the year 1999. She joined a contest that was going to form the group, and she was successful in this endeavor. The group made two albums before they disbanded in 2002. She then tried to establish a solo act and she released the album entitled Calendar Girl in 2003. With this attempt not so great, she turned to acting, and she made appearances in “The Mystery of Natalie Wood” and recently, she can be seen in “Date Movie” and “Click.” Her next big movie project is “Sex and Death 101.”
