Evangeline Lilly

Nicole Evangeline Lilly, born on August 3, 1979 in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, is a Canadian actress. She portrays Katherine "Kate" Austen in the successful drama 'Lost' for which she earned a Golden Globe nomination. Evangeline was discovered and signed by Ford modeling agency. She has appeared in various LiveLinks Chatline TV commercials and on Judgment Day. She appeared uncredited in the following films: 'Freddy vs. Jason' in 2003; in a Smallville episode; in 'The Lizzie McGuire' 2003 movie. She guested on ABC series Kingdom Hospital in 2004. Lost is the first speaking role for Lilly. She was considered as one of the Breakout Stars of 2004 by Entertainment Weekly for her acting in 'Lost'. At the end of 2006, Lilly got a Golden Globe nomination for Best Lead Actress-Drama. Lilly was ranked eighth in the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World for 2006. She was second on Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2005, but she went down to number 67 in 2006. Lilly was married to Murray Hone, a Canadian hockey player. She is currently rumored to have an engagement with Dominic Monaghan, her co-star in the sci-fi thriller Lost.
