She gained onscreen success with the notorious Disney TV movie “High School Musical,” but before Vanessa Hudgens became part of this singing and dancing cast, she had already established herself as a young and talented movie actress. Vanessa Hudgens was born on December 14, 1988 in Salinas, California. When she was just 8 years old, she began to take part in musicals. Her first Hollywood jobs were in TV and after this, she moved on to making movies like “Thirteen” and “Thunderbirds.” After some television stints in “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody,” “Drake and Josh,” and “The Brothers Garcia,” Vanessa Hudgens made the TV smash “High School Musical.” In 2007, she reprised the role of Gabrielle Montez in “High School Musical 2.” She is set for the last installment, “High School Musical 3: Senior Year,” which will be out in 2008. Her debut album “V” was released in 2006 and she is currently working on her second album.
