Julie Benz

Julie Benz (born May 1, 1972) is a famous actress from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Before Julie became an actress, she entered the filed in figure skating since her mother and her other siblings were into that sport. She even competed for the US Junior Ice Skating Championship in 1988. However, when she met an accident while skating she decided to retire from her career as a skater. Julie's acting career started in 1989 when she appeared in a local play. She became popular when she portrayed the role vampire Darla in the program Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She also starred in another TV show, Angel. Aside from TV acting Julie also penetrated the movie scene appearing in the movies As Good as It Gets and Jawbreaker. Julie was hailed Best Supporting Actress in a Series in the Satellite Award in 2006. She played Rita Bennett on the show Dexter when she won the said award.
