Monica Bellucci
Monica was born in the Italian region on the September 30, 1964. Though she dreamt of becoming a successful lawyer, she came to the fashion limelight and joined Elite Model Management in Milan. She instantly became the face of celebrated brands such as Elle and Dolce and Gabbana. Perhaps, wanting more than just the face of famous labels, she took up different workshops and classes in acting. Her first film was entitled "Bandits: Love and Liberty." Monica also starred in "La Riffa," "Bram Stoker's Dracula," "Mitici," "Palla di Neve," and "L'Appartement." She was Cesar-nominated for her role "Lisa," which took her career to a whole new level. Not long after, she starred in her own films and in hit movies. Her best film was "Malena," which got a lot of awards in both national and foreign award-giving bodies. Her most recent projects include "The Matrix," "The Passion of the Christ" by Mel Gibson, “The Brothers Grimm” and the hit “Lord of War,” where she starred with famous actor Nicolas Cage.
